As some of you may already know, if you creep my facebook, I am in the process of building my car. When i got it it was bone stock, and to be honest it disgusted me at how the previous owners didnt take very good care of this car. The intake tube was rigged to be a homemade cold air intake, was previously wrecked so the k member was bent, and it leaked oil like crazy (absolutely no rear main seal left). Long story short, I paid way too much for this car than i should have. hear are some pics when i first got it, only thing done was the hood, halo headlights, window tint and homemade smoked tail light.
Then after a while of contimplating on how i wanted to build this car I went with the sleeper look, so I sold the wheels and got some stock wheels...if you have an eye like a hawk then you can see by how the wheel kits in the fender that the k member is bent.
then i did a few smaller things and got black beautys, smoked tail lights and wired the foglights as DRLs
the lights came out way too dark and not as glossy as i had liked
then i bought a chin spoiler from a guy on the site, minus the hardware, then spent a BIG $4 on my own hardware lol
then after a couple weeks we decided to go fix my leak, so we pulled the motor
after the motor was out it was time to clean up the engine bay and of course the motor itself
after gettin everything cleaned up it was time to remove the old k member and install the new tubular kit with coilovers
while the car was disabled i spent a lil extra to get the tail lights done by "a professional" theyre still too dark but they look better
then after a long wait...we drop it in
thats as of last night (10/14/2011) so all i got left to do is get everything back together and hopefully by then ill have my new intake (GT40 lower and Hartman Powerbox upper), then take it to work and get it aligned and then drive it for a while and make sure everything is working fine, then come winter time, TURBO INSTALL!!!!!
