Okay, Ive searched and found nothing. Who DD's on the drag rims? Im looking at the kit from 50resto.com (if i dont end up selling my car).
Are these SAFE to DD on? If so then I <3 them. But if not then I'll keep my khobra rims.
Any input would be greatly apreciated guys...
thanks

Location
Memphis-ish
After reading that thing on there they pretty much admit that the wheels couldn't take the truck turning on them all the time... I don't think it'd be as much of a problem on a mustang, but nonetheless, it shoudl be taken into consideration that these are def drag wheels.

I also HAD prostars on my 98 mustang V6 - my rims looks like these:

012%20Left%20Wheel%20Cracked%20Too%201.JPG

my prostars got THE SAME cracks on the spokes like these on the pics.. I just drove them on normal streets, not offroad or anything crazy. I guess driving all day through cities with lot of manhole/drain covers is not good for the welds..

welds are lightweight and just for straight tracks - no putholes or anything on there. the welds are just made of two kind of thin shells (front side of spokes and rear side) and just pressed (I think without welding or anything like that)...... I love the look of fat meats on welds - but just for the track use! not for daily uses! I think too dangerous!

it tells you right on the box that the welds aren't for daily driving.
try and find a set of PRIME 221's. they are discontinued but they are a solid cast aluminum instead of the lighter multipeice. i really liked my primes, they held up very well and shined up great and didn't need the special lug nuts.

yeah I think draglites are stronger but I still think not that good to call it "good"... they're also made the same way like the prostars...
