if your hi's are your lo's then you need to re-wire the hi/lo controller. The ddmtuning.com kit I got for my truck (also uses 9007 bulbs like the mustang) came wired for 9004 bulbs so I had to change the pin locations on the plug, took about 5 minutes.

i'll have to try that. i think that's my problem too.

It's the actual plug that looks like the back of the "stock" bulb that plugs into the HID kit. You'll have to fiddle around with the pin positions until you get it right. I didn't realize this when I installed them in my old Stratus R/T until I was getting flashed for having my hi-beams on... LOL

yeah i fixed my gf's dad's truck because of the reverse polarity thing, so i know some kits are mixed up some on the wiring. just thought it was because of some resistor the guy told me about.

I ordered them on 4/4, true that was a Sunday, say 4/5. I haven't heard anything from them. Should it have taken this long to get? I don't use the phone, but I've e-mailed them twice. That live chat is always offline, too. Getting kinda fed up with it all. Just wondered how long yours took to get to ya? Thanks!!

i accidently ordered them twice. ordered them one day on the regular shipping but the confirmation email i didnt get. so i thought it didnt work so i ordered another set 3 days later on i think 3 day shipping. then i FINALLY got my confirmation on my first order. called and cancelled the 3 day shipping one(2nd order). got my headlights about a week after i ordered the first ones and still recieved the 2nd order like 2 weeks later and they never charged me! lol. FREE HIDs FTW! but it took mine about a week

they are a tad bit slower on shipping than other companies for sure.
i wouldn't worry about it though man. it's a big company so nothing should happen.

i think ddm has good stuff, but they are overrated i think.. And their chat people are about as helpful as a flat tire.

When I got online today, had a refund from them. Didn't say why or anything. Now I have no idea what to buy? My VVME ones kinda suck. Sure they are backwards, but never that good @ either! Give me a brand I can buy now, please. Thanks!!

when i bought them i got the 2 or 3 day shipping. i made the purchase on saturday night and they arrived at my door on wednesday.

i am going to order another set soon hopefully everything will go smooth again. idk why you had such a hard time w/ them.

if you got the money back but you still want HIDS id give DDM another shot.

I have VVME right now and the headlights are starting to go, when I first turn them on they dont want to stay on.

I;m going to go with DDM, 3 of my friends have them and they work great

To original poster....they may have refunded because your billing address doesn't match shipping? Also they were on backorder for awhile

I have 6k heads dual beams and 8 k fogs 55w both, im switching to 5k all around and 35w....we'll see how I like em.

Apparently the 9007 fits in a 9004 as well? if so my beater 95 mercury tracer will get my old HIDs until they fail completely

I run xentec's from hidguy.net. They have been 100% reliable since day one I put them in. I am always afraid of the cheap kits. I was thinking about buying a cheap kit for fogs, but the more I think about, I'll do it right once.

Sorry, I had it all responses to each reply. Messed it up! Forgot how I did it, so I'll just type together.

It may be because I have the worst luck in every single buy, especially HID's!!

I am going to wait for a reply to see if I can order them again. I don't see why I was refunded.

Think MustangMan is answered in what I already typed.

Jerzey, I saved that site. If I get those, probably better, I will have to save another month's $. Don't that $ yet to spend.

That is pretty much the kit I have. It's just that the ballast is much smaller from being upgraded as technology goes on. Never had a problem with xentecs. I think they a tad expensive because its a great kit.
