anyways back on topic. I had a 95 Cobra ( not a R ) and it had cloth interior with electric drivers seat and non 2 tone doors. it didn't have that perforated stuff tho.

249A option = Cobra option interior

Am I right or not ?
in 1996 you could get 248a, 249a, and Group 1 248a on GT's

249a is just the option package for a normal GT (ie: power windows, etc.)

248a- manual locks, windows, no foglights, v6 seats, standard audio system, no trunk release

group 1 248a is the same as the normal 248a, but you get power windows and doors and the trunk release in the glove compartment

of course, that only applies to GT's, V6 an Cobra have their own

Cobra just had a "Preferred Equp. package"- leahter, mach 460, and PATS (PATS was standard after 96)

combo's slightly changed in 97

Ford got rid of the "packages" in 98

this history lesson has been brought to you by the letter "K"

Ive always been a fan of the white interior verts... I hate verts so much.... but i own one...

And on the 94 vs 96 tail issue... WHO GIVES A SH*T! put on the car what you like... any mustang owner that knows the difference in the tails should be able to point out the other differences in the years... IE: actual working rear wheel vents and the change in the side skirts... and most of all if you can tell that the car is a 4.6 or a 5.0 by sound you need a slap.

Ya, i notched that on the 95. The 97 didnt have vents that could be seen when you remove the rear wheel. Strange.

Whats different about the skirts?

96+ comes up a little bit on the front fender near the wheel well. instead of strait across like the 94's

Any pictures showing this?????????
