The paint was the clue I was using too. I hope that’s it, because I didn’t see anything else wrong lol

Ding ding! We have a winner! The red paint is the only clue. No damage I can see on the clutch housing, so just have to get the pivot ball stud length figured out now.

Yeah. I ordered an adjustable pivot ball stud a few weeks ago but have been too busy or too tired to work on the car lately.
