Difference between wiring for coupe and convertible rear view mirrors???

Basically, I need to know if I need any kind of wiring harness from a convertible to use a convertible rear view mirror in a coupe. I need the mirror with the lights under the mirror, as I am installing a targa top system which will eliminate my overhead light.

Also, do the reading lights under the mirrors come on when the doors open on a convertible (as the overhead light does on a coupe)?
