Speaking from personal experience the biggest difference you could make to your car is driving practice at the track. How many rpm do you come off the line at, how well was it hooking up? I have a 96 cobra as well and with my all weather 245 tires traction was difficult to find. I also ran low 14's my first visit to the track. All the bolt ons will help, shifter, gear, dr's or slicks, suspension work, a tune possibly, the list goes on. But i think it really comes down to track time, it doesn't matter how much power you're getting to the wheels if you can't get it to hook up and utalize all of it. There are bolt on 96 n/a cobras running 11's. A strong set of axles might be in order, but it can be done if you really drive it
I vote driver mod, i need one too
