really?..idk me n my dad took it apart n the magnet is broke cuz it made solid contact with the metal disk lookin deal with teeth that goes over it..he said the bushing was gone too in the top of the shaft cuz it wiggles back n forth way too much..n thats what let the two things come in contact...i just figured if some place sold them id buy a new ford one...i know 50resto has them for foxes but not my year...

Mine was giving me problems so i took it out and bought a new pick up coil (the part with the magnet and the plug) it was 30.00 new. When i took out my dizzy and took it apart and the bushing was so corroded it just fell apart. So i tried to get a new one and my buddy who works for ford in parts said they don't sell just the bushing. So i went to the junkyard a couple of times and finally found one and took it apart and used its bushing and put everything back together and the car has never ran better...just an idea, but i have a friend who just bought a reman. dizzy from napa and i also hear good things about them on this site ,its only about 80.00
