I've asked this before, but I'm bringing it back.

Do y'all have any kind of a limit on stuff you want to buy for your Mustang? I don't, really! I'm on disability, too. It may take me months to save up, but I will buy it. I am willing to pay more for top notch stuff! I want only the best, so that cost more.

Examples: I just bought a tan steering wheel from Javi. I placed an order for a brand new FR500 wheel though. I know this is not that big of a buy, but I don't have a real job! Another is for my conv top. The one I have on it now, saddle, is fine. I will be swapping to a black one pretty quick! It will look better, so this is what I will do.

I just wondered if any of y'all were like me? See ya!

My limit right now is zero, lol. When I get it paid off this summer I will start saving for a new motor.

Not really, I have a limit for the actual car though. I want it to always be streetable at least until I buy a new car.

No limit.
That would be stupid.

The only time I limit myself is when I decide I am spending more on a car than how much I love it, how much gains I'm going to get out of it, or what the car is worth (damage, rust, age, etc.). At which point I fix it to running status, shine it up, sell it, and start with a better platform.

I'm too emotionally attached to this Cobra, I should be long past that point. But I don't like the looks of New Edge or 05+, so what choice do I really have? Next car will be a Porsche of some type.

My spending depends on my income. While I was making great money I was spending a lot. Right now I'm unemployed so there is no spending. My Kenne Bell was the last thing I bought (with the exception of snow tires).

I don't give myself a limit but I shop smart and make sure I get the absolute most out of my dollar. I'm unemployed and do watch spending a little more than I used to.

im not one to save big amounts of money, because i have a lot of things to spend my money on other than my car. so if there's something expensive i want, i rarely ever save any money to get it.

on average, (give or take) i have about $500 each month to play around with, after i pay off bills and other things, and after about 3 months of saving up for wheels and tires, i had $400 put away.

I have always been the worst @ saving $! I am better with saving up for my car though. What sucks is while you are saving up, you see all these great mods for yours! I will want to eventually get, just not right when I see it. I keep a running log of every buy, rounded up to the nearest $. When I get my car back, that will move like 12 into the 'bought' category! Going kinda nuts in my spendings right now! Hoping 1 day it will level back off.
