I get on it now and then, but I don't beat the ever living piss out of it. The only time I ever dump the clutch is at the track when Im warming up the slicks. On the street I never dump the clutch, usually I stand on it once Im in second gear. 1st gear is pretty pointless on the street with 4.30s and street tires so unless I want to be bouncing off the limiter, I just wait till second gear..lol

I think there's a difference between driving a car hard/enjoying it and abusing it, I'd like to think i fall into the former category.

I know what you mean like moderately getting on it and shifting quick or really mashing on it ... I tend to like to really get on it , I really only like to do the 123 because by then it's already more then fast enough to lose my car for a week.

Yup, I beat on it at least once a day when it was daily driven. When I get it back on the road I am sure nothing will change. I usually do it when I am around no one else or if there is another car we will do a pull but like musturd said, fast enough is fast enough... can't afford a big ticket.

Everytime I grip that shifter knob, look at my gauges and see a long road with no civilians. It's balls out and ready to powershift the shit out of it. I call it "drive it, like I stole it".

Lemme put it this way.

A. I have TRIED to blow up my car while I had the drivetrain under warranty and I was still dailying it.

B. The only time I drive it now IS to beat on it.

I literally have not broken anything from beating on it, and I am very confuse. This thing is a champ, and I love it.

And even if they break, they cost like $2 to fix.

Bet that M5 of yours isn't gonna be a cheap fix when something goes.

Nope, my car is actually pretty clean, no rust, and when you learn how to make power and what compression and overlap is then we can talk.... Tony when your done playing with "rims" ...air bags, and getting pissed that you sold your vagasil blue drop top..... and want to learn how to make power with a small ci mod motor let me know. Until then stay in the sand box with the children and dont eat the crayons bud.

Is this a trick question? :D

My 94 gets the snot beat out of it every time it's out. It does get more maintenance, and breaks more.

My 85 not so much. But it gets driven a few hundred miles per year.
