Hello, I am thinking of getting some aluminum Edelbrock heads and was looking for a good cam to go with them. Has anyone here used the Edelbrock cam #2122? I have heard our computers don't do well with the Ford E303 cam. How does it handle the edlebrock cam? Are there any other better cams you would suggest? Thanks

With any cam, you're probably going to need a tune to get it to run 100% so if you're planning on swapping out heads and a cam, go ahead and get ready for a good tune.

Edelbrock 2122 is a flat tappet camshaft. Which is a NO on these cars. You need a roller cam.

Unless you meant 2221, which is a roller cam.

After researching more i figured I would need #3722. I might just spend the extra $100 and get a custom cam

The specs on 3722 is the same thing as the Ford E303 camshaft. Pick up a used E303 for around $100.
