I wouldn't think that it would be THAT slow from what i've heard on the forums. But, who knows, depends on how crappy that tune is.

Sounds about right. My little cousin has a CAI, full exaust and 4.10's on his 96 GT 5 speed, no tune and runs 14.3's. You can probably get it in the 14's but not much pass that.

12s will take ALOT more than you have listed, ALOT more!!!!

power adder (nitrous, turbo, blower) or heads/cams/bolt ons/tune/converter/tires

If you want 12's your going to need at a minimum H/C/I suspension work slicks or a good drag radial exhaust work if you want to do it NA. If your fine with boost then strap a blower on it now and a few other mods and traction and you will get it. I ran 12.7 with my 95 GT with a Cobra intake, exhaust work, bigger TB, stock heads and cam and ran a 12.7. I'm below that now being NA but 351 > 302 lol

For 12's I can give you the minimum mod list or what worked for me. I went 12.9 @ 104 with a 1.8 60 ft
1.) You need the right gearing...at least (I had 4.10's) and short throw shifter...but you have an auto so dont know how to help you there.
2.) I had a complete 03 PI engine but you'll make more power over me with PI heads, intake and cams + Tune (I did not nave a tune)
3.) A good set of tires, use at least some Mickey Thompson ET streets or even better some slicks
4.) I had a BBK off-road X pipe, SLP LM1 catback and that was it for power mods.
5.) I used FRPP C springs...they are not drag springs and stock suspension
6.) Put the car on a diet, I started with a 248a option car (No power anything, cloth seats) I removed anything in the trunk, passenger seat, rear seats.
All of those mods with a pair of borrowed slicks in the rear, 99 cobra wheels in the front with bumped up tire preassure, disconected the front sway bar, and I launched at like 4k rpm. I t was a cool september night, no wind and a decently prepped track. I also made sure I barely had a quarter tank of gas in the car...my buddies had a few cans of gas in their truck just in case.
When that car was bone stock except for an H-pipe and flows, I ran a 14.5 flat...but again this was a 5 speed car and I can shift a little faster than my grandmom.

Don't feel bad, last time I went out with the blower I barely ran better than stock, track was horrible, nothing you can do about that.

I went 15.2 @ 90 with PI cams, PI intake, UDPs, and a CAI with bad weather, so your times seem about right. I was also cutting 2.2 60's, dead hooking; wasn't the tires fault, it was my power level/stock TC's fault.

After I got a tune, offroad mid pipe, and good weather, I went 8.98 @ 79.3 (~13.9). Actually went 14.1 with so-so weather and track.

Get above mods for a low 14/high 13 second car. It'll feel like you put a supercharger on it. Get gears and/or a TC and you'll have a solid mid-high 13 second car.

well ran even worse 15.30 89.78 track was 125 degrees added cai

Heat has a lot to do w/ ET's but also it effects traction, when your running street tires its a loose loose situation when it comes to a cooler track or a hotter track surface.
