Not much going with the car this morning, maybe will have better pics on saturday if they do anything to it. Dropped the rims off and center caps on both sets of wheels are 2.5" so they SHOULD transfer to my new rims, I hope! Anyways they just did a little more body work, little bit of sanding on the drivers side but I was too lazy to get a pic.

Yep, sadly I couldn't grab ANY traction because I was using my street tires. I have a video of my pass somewhere, but I ran a [email protected], 2.5' sixty foot, spinning through first and 2nd gear. I'm going up in the spring with slicks and a full suspension, so there is NO reason the car can't run in the 13s, just not on street tires

from CruizenConcepts, price there is hard to beat and the wheels seem to be of good quality, only time will tell though. No new pics sadly, snuck over to the body shop yesterday and they haven't done anything with it yet but all the parts for it are in(new K member is nice!).

The box said OE wheels on it, which who makes almost most of the repo wheels for every company like AM or CJ pony Parts. Quality will be decent like all the others. Looking good, love the wheels and looks like she'll be back on her feet in no time.

Man that sucks. i know how you feel about your car. i worked at wendies for over 2 years and saved all my money to by my mustang. i would be devistated if i got into an accident and my baby got totalled.i hope it all turns out ok for you and you get your car fixed

Well, I was changing oil on an Escape today when I heard a familiar loud roar in the shop, the main shop guys pulled my car in today and started working on it. The new rear axle is in already and they started tearing stuff off to drop the K-member. Apparently the insurance WON'T pay for the mounting/balancing of my 4 new wheels, so they said I can do it this Saturday to save myself the 2 hours labour on it. Anyways, here's the pics, Will have new pics possibly tomorrow but will have new pics for sure on Saturday with the saleens on the car. Worst thing is, the tech. working on it is almost exactly STRAIGHT across from where I work, so I have to look at my car all day :'(.

so your putting on the new wheels, for it go into a paint booth and get overspray on it and have bondo dropped on them? Piece of advice, don't. You can tape that thing up enough to sufficate a roach but it'll still get over spray on them

If they get anything on the rims, they will clean it off, and I have to do it before they spray it sadly, some BS about the insurance company and the body shop, I'm not happy either but thats how it works I guess. You're forgetting, I WORK at this place, we just had 30+ lot vehicles cleaned by our detail department for overspray when some construction workers were working on our roofs.

Haha I'm not there yet man, I'm just a grunt technician right now, do oil changes mostly but do tire mounts/balances and other small jobs as well. My goal is to be a in the mainshop doing stuff like what they are doing to my car in about 4-5 years
