Another update, they got the k-member in, but not as smoothly as they or I wanted it too. They had to trim quiet a bit of stuff to get the new K-member to fit, but it looks great! Will have pics with the rims installed on saturday, but I also got something for the rims today...

Gotta love the perks of working at a Ford/SVT Dealership, One of my good parts buddies gave me this OEM SVT centercap take offs for FREE!!! Can't believe I got authentic SVT caps for free...

dude i hate you, i want those center caps. What are they? My '98 Cobra center caps wouldn't fit my Saleens.

Came off a 2003 Termy cobra, I honestly wasn't expecting them for free. My dad grew up with this guy and it's funny that I work with him now, but we were talking about my car and I showed him the saleens and he asked about center caps. I told him I was going to get saleen ones, he said that he had some SVT ones, so we went to his desk, got the caps, they fit, asked for a price, he said free. It was a FTMFW moment at that time. I might just keep the SVT ones on instead of kinding saleen ones, these look really good with the rims!

Went into work this morning to mount and balance up my new saleens. Being a rookie technician, this was my first time ever doing a Low-profile tire mount which was interesting, but WAY easier than I thought it would be. Everything went smooth, didn't scratch my rims or rip the tires

. I LOVE the look of saleens, and thank Javi and everyone else who told me to get chrome saleens, they look like sex! Too bad the car won't get lowered until winter

. On side news, the k-member was finished on Friday and 100% completed now, needs an alignment BAD and the k-member pushed the wheels out a little bit, but nothing that I would really give 2 sh*ts about. Going back to the body shop on tuesday(monday is thanksgiving) after the alignment is done, car should be finished end of this week/beginning to mid of the week after. Anyways, here's the pics!

Yep, ours is usually a month before the USA's, never really knew why, but you guys get black friday in November for discounts, we get boxing day on December 26th for discounts

LMAO that is not the impression I'm trying to give off, I'm leaving all GT badges on the car, I was given those SVT caps by a guy at work for free and they look A LOT better than the POS ones that came with the saleens. I like the way the SVT caps look in there though, might just keep them. My justification: I have quiet a bit of Ford Racing products on the car

Dunno, the cobras out of my AFS termy replicas were just literally a hair too big, but the SVT ones fit perfect, so who knows, I wasn't expecting them to fit either. After starting it up and putting the new wheels on it yesterday, I am REALLY anxious to drive it again, it's going to look soo different it's not right. I'm also stuck on headlights to get for it, I'm looking at:
A) Black beautys
B) Cobra headlights w/ amber corners
C) Cobra Headlights w/ clear corners

well i took a quick look at the American Muscle website and out of the chrome, black chrome, black and hypercoated Saleen wheels the hypercoated ones are the only ones that take the 2 3/8" center caps. the rest take 2.5" ones which is probably why they fit yours. Lucky me I guess lol.

Haven't had an update in awhile, but got a call yesterday to come in today to look at the car. The whole driver's rear inner fender has rusted to practically nothing. Good news, there is a donor SN95 car at the dealership so I'm getting this all fixed, bad news, another 1-2 weeks I'll be Mustang-less

. At least My car will be rust free when all is said and done... I hope!
