door lock went out? need advice

ok well today i relized that my drivers power door lock wont work if i hit the switch or the key fob, they told me it might be the door lock actuator, but before i do that i want to know if there is a fuse or something that i could check first? has anyone had this problem before? i need advice

It happened on my passenger side before...Its more than likely the actuator. I think a new one cost around $20 from the dealer
