The wiring system in the windows is a tricky system to trouble shoot. IT was good for ford because it didn't use relays and saved $$ for it but its one of the toughest sytsems to integrate into. If there is a bad connection anywhere in the system it will leave some funny problems to figure out as one or both(in the case of the pass window) switches have an issue.

Yeah it's just one really good cluster ****. Once I have the dash out these issues will be a lot easier to find and isolate though.

I'll keep updating though.

Newest little update:
I took the window motor out, noticed it was different than the original motor (only after I had bought the bushings and opened the package) and realised they were useless.
I then went back outside, tested the wires leading into the motor and at the motor for power, they show power. So the motor must've finally given out, I'm probably going to go pull another out of a car tomorrow to see if that'll fix the issue.

New New little update:
I replaced the window motor today and it was function again. Hooray!
Down side, while testing it still got stuck going down a third of the way (hitting the window would dislodge it and allow it go keep going down) and while going up it would have issues overcoming the same spot. This is probably the reason why the window motor originally went out.

New New New little update:
It would appear the regulator is more than likely okay and rather the black front track as come off causing this catching issue. I'm going to google around for a replacement.
Here's a picture of what all I found in my driver side door (this'll defiantly help eliminate some rattles) Anyone know where to find a replacement one of these?

And this picture shows how unaligned my window is, actually smashing into the body of the car and having an opening at the rear of the window

I think I need to reintroduce the problem in a different perspective after today's field day.

Lets break it down to something plain and simple, "The Door Locks Do Not Work."
Now the issue is occuring with both sides, so it isn't just a left or a right side issue.
It is not the buttons, they work fine and show that they are working since they cause other things to happen.

Taking into consideration, by pressing these non-working, working doorlock buttons to the unlock or lock position it will cause the dashlights to sometimes come on, it will cause the dash clock to go from regular daylight brighteness to a dim brighteness (as if you pulled the headlight knob out to turn on the headlights). It does not effect the headlights. If the door is open while pressing the lock button the door chime will signal.

I do not have any security alarm, ever, factory or otherwise, nor does my car have remote-keyless entry (it has the harness but no module).

Some things I do plan to try are getting a remote keyless entry module tomorrow from a car I was messing with in the salvage yard and see if that can cause anything different or if the function will work at all.
I'm trying very hard to not have to take out the dash to fully expose the wiring harness that runs behind the dash and kick panels. I've inspected most wiring that is visible from laying underneath the dash and in the kick panel which all appear to be in decent-good condition.

The question of if I was getting power to the door locks was asked, and honestly I don't know. I used a test light on all 4 connectors for the driver side window button to check and no the light never lit up (i tested the light prior to), but again, the door lock buttons are still activating things in different manners.

I'm taking into consideration that the dome lights nor visor lights do not work, this could or could not be related and that most of these functions I've described deal with security system or running lights being on.

Any more thoughts anyone wants to toss out there?
Schematics?
I feel stuck, even though there's more for me to try/do. But I really just want one solid lead.:p

(As incentive for when this gets fix, I promise to post a burnout video on my new-to-me DRs)

edit: a few more things I wanted to note for consideration purposes

my air bag light is on and I do get the three beeps associated to show they're not working, I believe.
Most of these things are on the same fuse or circuit in general.

Is there any other common wiring issues such as melting (except for at the headlight switch) that occurs with our cars?

http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine/images/Mustang-94-95-Eng-Fuses-Door-Controls.gif
For anyone's reference, this is the door lock diagram without keyless entry.
It's pretty self contained, exactly like that. I could check continuity between the circuits, but it appears that they're still connected since either causes the same issue.

I'm going to check for power once more at black/white. If there isn't power, I'll check the fuse again. If the fuse is intact, then the issue should supposedly be between the master window/door lock control switch and the fusebox along black/white.

If this isn't the case then I'll check for power to pink/orange and/or pink/black to see if the motors are getting power while pressing the button. If they aren't getting power then I should assume the issue is between the door lock motor(s) to the passenger side control switch. If they are getting power, and aren't working I should assume that both motors have gone out (stranger things have happened).

But as I've said pink/yellow and pink/light green seem to be intact running either way since I can atleast see something happen by grounding them out when clicking the button. Then again, the issue could be along these wires (god I hope not) running from side to side behind the kickpanel and up into the main dash harness.

Is all of my logic sound?
And finally, where does the ground end/located for the door locks, I figured I should make sure it's grounding out properly and not causing some crazy issues.

Anyone have the same diagram but with the keyless entry?
I should mention, I'm a self-taught novice at electric wiring and my understands are basic.

I missed your update on the 4rth. I am in the doors on my car now so if you need pics let me know.

The beeping isn't for the air bag lights but to signal that you have a warning light that is not working.

The no power at the back of the switch is where we need to start. Let me see if I can see where my mustang bibles electrical section might point too.

Sounds good, I'm heading back out now to test for power again. I hadn't referenced the wiring diagram so I might get different (better) results this time.

edit:

Now looking back I missed a lot on this post not sure where I was.
One thing ttocs, I was checking out your build thread, there's some neat stuff in there! Some I love some I hate, but I was really curious about the lowering and highering thing, what exactly does it do? Is it electrical, and do you control it from inside? Like hydraulics on a pinto or something? PM me some deets on it!

Its an air-ride system with a Ridetech air bags replacing the springs. Be happy to tell you what ever you want to know about it.

Back on topic:

Looking back I do not see any mention of checking the fuse box? Lets start simple and go back to that. Don't even bother with the manual just get on your back, pop the cover and then start pulling and checking every one till you have done them all. Takes less time and we can be sure it isn't a different fuse and you would be amazed how often that happens. When your done in the car check all the fuses under the hood.

I didn't mention it but I had checked all the fuses, I just did it again though and they're all still fine. for the two fuses that are grey and can't be seen I tested the ohms which read 0.00.
I'm about to check all the fuses underr the hood though.

I think you actually answered my question about your suspension a long time ago through PM when I initially asked, this thread sat for a while:p

but I checked all under the hood fuses and they are all good as well.

ok so fuses are good. You said there was NO power on the back of the drivers side switch?

Have you pulled the kick panel out on either side before? Was everything back there clean and were there any aftermarket connections to it?

Also make sure you're checking your fuses with either a fuse tester, or a test meter set on continuity, visual inspection can sometimes not spot a small break (has happened to me before, looked fine, but no continuity on that particular fuse). The little fuse testers are cheap, and you don't have to take the fuse out of the fuse box to test it.

was it the keyless?

The keyless entry had the connector closet to the body unplugged.
Somehow, that was causing it all, I guess?

I replaced the keyless entry, plugged it all in, programmed the remote and it all worked again.
Dumb luck stumbling upon it, I suppose it's because when I bought my rims the guy gave me the remote to his car so I was curious about it. When he pressed the button his dome lights turned on, so that made me realize that they could all be connected since I didn't have one but I had the harness part in my car.
