Door panel insert restoration

What paint do people use on these? Mine need a serious cleaning and the clear coat or whatever it is is coming off. Semi gloss black? Gloss black?

They used to sell SEM brand which is great. Not sure if this is still SEM with LRS rebadge and up-charge or what.

what insert are you concerned about? I saw where someone wanted to paint the perferated insert that is on the 94/95 mustangs where your elbow would rest. They used a standard spray paint and probably put it on a little heavy and the chemicals used to expel the paint actually caused the adhesive that held that piece of vinyl on to relax and peel off.
