My driver side door has been sagging a little bit and it's also pushed out to far in comparison to the passenger side door. I have tried adjusting the striker with no luck. Unsure what to do about it now. Any suggestions?

I used Dorman kit 38438 on my 98. I used a 15/32 drill bit which is 2 steps down from 1/2” in my set. I was able to drill the hinges and the bushings fit tight and the pin fit tight in the bushing.

What I like about this kit is that the pins are the perfect length and have e-clips to finish them off. Hope this helps

If you push up on the handle to open it does the door pop out as though its under pressure pushing it out? Check the window/body rubber seals along the edge and make sure that it has not slipped out and is in place. If it is then shut the door and look from the outside to be sure that the window is not going up too far. In my recent door/window seal adventure I found a vid at one point that showed this problem was being caused by the window going up too far and a simple adjustment to the window stop fixed it.

With the door open you can pick it up and down, vertical play. I have a write up somewhere for door pin replacement. Cherry picker makes it easy.
