driveshaft & u-joint

this upcoming weekend im takin time out to replace bad rear u-joints. this is going to be first time taking driveshaft out and such so i didnt know if anyone had a good how-to or inside tips. any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I like to just jack the back of the car up so tranny fluid dont pour out when the front comes out of the tranny.

Other then that just pound or press the old joints out and pound or press the new ones in. Just keep the drive shaft in phase. Mark each end and put it back on the way it came off.

mark where the drive shaft is in relation to the rear end and to the tail shaft.
do this first so you don't get the ds 180 deg. out of balance

can you just change the u joint with basic handtools at home? I need to do this..

Just need hammer, some kind of thing like a socket to pound 'em out, and some pliers. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
