To upgrade my driveshaft or not to upgrade my driveshaft that is the question ladies and gents!
I've looked at aluminum drive shafts. I'm not too worried about the weight savings or supposed performance gains, but I have some vibrations at certain speeds and I think a balanced aftermarket shaft would help...at least almost everyone I've seen that upgraded to a balanced aluminum shaft says they noticed marked improvement in vibrations from the drive train.
Unless you have vibration issues there is really no need for it. I have run them on almost all my stangs and to me they really dont do much. You can spend that money on other upgrades that will actually make a bigger difference.
you can balance your stock driveshaft

less rotational mass which means less parasitic drag. it's just as strong as stock. /thread
So to sum this up it's pretty much not worth doing right?
