I recently lowered my 98 gt 5spd on sportlines, with no other suspension mods. About a week later I'm getting on the highway and I drop it into 2nd and hear a loud bang/thud. Shortly after when I get off the highway I start to notice this awful metal click/clunk sound whenever I load/unload the drivetrain. The car drives great with no noticeable vibration or strange sounds once it is moving and shifting hasn't seemed to cause the noise. I'm about to bring I down to my mustang guy after failing to diagnose myself.

Any ideas?

I thought maybe u joints, just hoping my rear end isn't toast...
