I live in SE Kansas a bit in the boondocks, big white tail country, and the rut is starting. I need more/better light. Specifically I need some driving lights not fogs. Has anyone added this to your car and where/how did you mount them? The factory fogs are about as useful as a bic lighter. I will run these off an auxiliary switch so they don't go off when I hit the brights. Thanks for the help.

Not really relevant to your question, but my brother lives in Arma and has lived in and around Pittsburgh for the last 15+ years.

consider doing an led/HID retrofit and you can gain a lot of light. They are not cheap parts or easy to do so in the end they cost more than we like but you will forget the price when you get to turn them on.

03/04 cobra fogs with led bulbs. Plugged into the original fog light plugs. Fog lights come with four mounting holes, which you could zoom in and see the four stainless steel screws on each light. Think it was about a 4 inch hole for each fog light. 4 inch hole saw did the trick also 03/04 fog lights are adjustable. You can aim the beam up and down or left and right depending how you mount them to the bumper. Just throwing an idea out there for you. You could probably do the same thing with any off-the-shelf LED assembly.

I found these while looking at LED bulbs - https://auxbeam.com/collections/led-replacement-fog-lights/products/qp009424.
I read a review by the repair geek and he thought the F16 bulbs from these guys would be a good choice. Like me he thinks there are some that on low beam are irresponsibly bright and I don't want to be "that" guy. The bulbs are +/- $50 a pair and should be a big upgrade over halogens. I am waiting a reply to verify they are high/lows.

If you mount in projector housings instead of round LEDs you get the flat cut off and you'll have no worries of being 'that guy'.

it really is almost amazing to me how well they can control the light no compared to when our cars were new. My new car actually turns the lights on the inside of turns to help me see around the corner but there is a def line of no light/light that you just can't get with our old style housings no matter what bulb you use unless you do a retrofit.
