Im running coilovers with my side exhaust and havent had any major problems with scraping. You just have to watch where you go.

I had dynomax on mine, loved it. Developed a hole in a muffler after an incident with an unseen speedbump so replaced it with borla. Fitment wasnt good at all and im not really a fan of the new tone. maybe itll grow on me.

ive got slp lm2's on mine, we fitted the mufflers straight to the back of m xpipe and custom made the pipes to go to my side exit tips with stainless manderal bends i got from my friend. ill have my side skirts monday and hopefully on tuesday, ill know then if i have clearance issues.

By the way, the sound of the lm2's are incredible!! some people may think its a little loud but im still a follower of the the old saying that "if its too loud, your too old"!!!!!!!!!!!! I get compliments on them all the time.

As a company you should make sure EVERY piece of tubing, muffler, and tip are right everytime, the difference from one kit to another is amazing, I wouldnt but a borla sticker on things i flush down the toilet. Like i said to each his own and if you like it do it but IMO they are garbage.

my skirts do not have svo on them but same style. I have decal cutter and considered making them for it but it seems like slappin a cobra badge on gt to me. Love and they are my favorite mod have done to the car which is why I do not what to tear them off.

I have wondered if there was a way to weld something to the subframe connectors tha would hang down enought that if something scrapped it would be there and not the skirts.

I don't see why you couldn't Scott. It would essentially be installing "skid plates" but you'd probably drag on eeeeeeveerything.

I would not care about scraping a skid plate here or there as much as I would the ONE time I scape the skirts and crack/break them. I was just considering a smallV-shapped piece welded to the subframe connectors. I am not talking about something that hangs down 3" from the rest of care but just making that pice an inch lower then the skirts. I think if they were tuckec up close enough to the wheel and the back of the skirt they would not stick out too bad and would take the blow for just a second until that wheel connected.

It would take a serious slam to break them. They will flex so long as you get urethane... Mine were, when the kid bought my car and wrecked it the first time he hit a curb head on and that's what cracked it. Then he totaled it though soon after lol. Youll be fine dude, my car was low as hell and a DD and I had no problem. The exhaust will hang lower than the skirts so it will scrape the exhaust first...

looks like the abc's that were shown before. Prokiller actually doesn't look that low and I could live with that. I am really paranoid because I just moved from phoenix. Because they can get an extreme amount of rain in a very short time the roads are built with a good tilt to them and when one road meets the other there was always a pretty good dip there. Because of this before I got the side exhaust(and still stock ride hieight) on one street going to my house I had to be VERY carefull making right turns or it would scrape BADLY right infront of the rear tire. There were more mustangs in town with side exhaust missing the rear part infront of the back tire on the pass side then there were that had them still. It would just compress it and then tear it off as the car was still moving.

So after seeing all that, spending 10 years drooling over that system planning on getting it, spending 2 years getting all the parts together and finally painted/installed I am overly paranoid about ripping them off.
