Dropping AODE (quick guidance needed)

How does the shifter come off? lol... It almost looks like you don't need to pull it off?

Also, what do I need to disconnect to drop the sucker?

TV cable, and?

Can I leave the shift linkages on there?

Quick answers appreciated... Motor and tranny come out in the next 20 minutes....

Im pretty sure you just need to remove the shifter cable from the tranny. If you want to remove the whole shifter from the car theres four bolts holding it on at the base that are reached by removing the trim cover and center console.

yeah... I got it out already... pain in my ass that was... frame was so bent none of the bolts wanted to come out... spent an hour on the driver's side cross member bolt... Had to surgically remove the son r bitch
