I'm going to try and get a part time job at the Autozone or whatever it is up there so I can have a little extra money to send to the 67.I don't have much. Stock seats (which I might not sell), headlights, 3.55 gears, just a few tiny little things. The guitar and amp are what I really need to sell but I haven't had much interest in them. I've also got some stuff laying around that I might try and sell too. Stuff that I use on occasion, but not enough to warrant keeping. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do about wheels and stuff. That's going to be my first purchase for sure.

Just a tiny update. Still haven't bought wheels or anything of the sort. Still tossing up the idea of getting newer style wheels and some adapters I found from Vintage Venom, or going with some old school rims.

Anyways, I got it out of storage last weekend while I was home, and drove it all weekend. The had some problems. The belt got screwy on me and kept turning sideways, falling off, doing all kinds of nonsense. I'm sure its because its old and whatnot, but I noticed that none of the pulleys actually line up. They are all just a bit off from one another. Which is probably the reason why my belt would not act right.

I'm also still trying to decide what I'm going to do motor-wise. I'd love to have a mildy built 351W with around 300hp to play with. But I might end up throwing another 302 in it. I want to put EFI on it, but I love the simplicity of the carb so theres that too. For suspension, I have decided to do this right and throw a AirRide suspension on it. A little costly, but I've seen them put to use on the autocross track and theres no denying that they look frickin amazing slammed.

Old school baby! Im getting some old Torque Thrust (Bullitt sytle...no like the real Bullitt...i.e. Steve McQueen) for the 66. Should look good.
Lemme know if you ever need any pointers...I may be Late model ignorant but I know my way around the 64-67's ;)

Torque Thrust is what I was looknig at too. That or maybe FR500s. The idea I have in my head of it like slammed on FR500s is pretty nasty looking. The price is about the same for Torque Thrusts vs FR500s and adapters so it all depends on what sort of vibe I want for the car.

Meh like 16's. Thats big without looking huge. I have 15 Mag 500's on there right now and they look good. It's just i think the me 66 would look sick with some black torque thrust's :D

17"s are about as big as you can go on vintage stangs without going into the too big category. I can't wait to throw some wheels on that thing. It'll look so much better than the rusted 15"s on it.

White, with a flat black hood with a broad orange pinstripe to break it up. Old school Trans-Am racer.
