When is it the good time to go on the dyno...

Ok, first of all, I installed my BBK CAI, BBK Headers and now will install my T/B 70mm. I am also working on my exhaust system...( magnaflow x-pipe + cat). Do you guys think I should go for a dyno run after all these mods?

Thanks,

A

IMO, Not worth it.

A tune can range anywhere from $150-$500+

Edit
:I rather spend the money from the tune on Gears, brakes, suspension you name it.
but thats me. :)

i would suggest against a tune for now. wait till major parts (H/C/I) the cost of the tune would pay for half the cost of these parts. lol.

feel free to get on the dyno for some base runs to see what power you are making. id ball park 200 RWHP and 260 RWTQ.

at the shop i went to it was $60.00 for 3 base runs.

I dyno'd my car when it was all stock for exactly the same reason as Chris, baseline

If you just want to see what you are doing then anytime is fine, if you are talking about dyno tuning you may not see a lot of benefit with your mods

yea, do some major stuff.

if you do it now, youll benifit, but it wont offset the costs. lol.

wait till heads, cams, intake or complete bolt-ons or something like that.
