I don't know of a way to adjust it. but check the first cable connected to the handle. As it goes through the floor it fray and brake over time.
You might want to take the rear wheels and rotors off to inspect the e-brake equipment back there for problems

yea it might bet the cable to the handle, we had the car up on the lift cause he was fixing his exhaust clearence issue and i started looking at the cables, and the to rear cables look in pretty good shape the fork where all the cables meet was good but loose i pulled on the front cable and just didnt feel right, would i have to take the consel completely off to replace that cable?

you don't have to remove the console to r&r the cable.
get the rear end off the ground, place jack stands on frame and let tires hang off the ground.
You should be able to get to the cable over the DS from there.

You still need to go inside the interior of the car to attach the cable to the handle

There is an open recall on the park brake assembly on 94-95's. I'm going to get mine resolved next week. Look into it before you spend money.

correct. you can get to it after you remove the console box.

the recall was about the handle attachment. I think it expired. but it can't hurt to ck anyway.
