Hello everyone, I am new to the Mustang family and I am learning my way around them. My Car - 1994 GT 5.0 with stock engine. Some things already changed, sub-frame reinforcements, suspension 90/50 in front, 50/50 in the rear (don't know what that means) Stage two clutch and plate, tremec transmission, 373 8.8 rear end, 2001 GT 17" wheels, half roll bar, relocated the battery to the trunk. and some other miner things. Recently I installed new timing chain, new water pump, new blue hoses, new thermostat, 24# injectors, 73mm MAF, new belt. I really enjoy the car and plan to do more as I can.

Before I decided to install the cam the car was having idle problems, I did the reset procedure, change TPS, change IAC, change vaccum lines, etc. with no luck so I decided to tear it down with hopes of removing the problem when reinstalling everything. Installed the E303 cam and all new parts as I went thru it. I am still running the stock heads and intakes (for now) and an after market cold air intake. Car runs a little ruff, the timing was set at 10, then at 12, then at 8 and back to 12, it runs better but very rich. The idle is better than before, the car wont cut off now but still slopes occasionally. I installed the plate offered by Ford which goes in between the IAC and the throttle body, it allows you to adjust the idle via two screws, problem still there, check for vaccum leeks with the starting fluid trick, no problems there. I am not sure what to do next. Comments will be appreciated

it may help also, to put 19# injectors back in it, you dont need the 24s. theyre overkill.

Did you make sure the timing was dead on when you did the timing chain?...one tooth could cause a problem like that, I also agree that a tune will help...Good Luck

The timing on the chain is dead on, I triple check that, if I go back to 19# injectors, I have to put back the stock MAF/filter? I have eather the 24# calibration or the stock one. and if I dino the same now would I have to dino again after changing the heads and intakes

Thanks for the help guys
