That's cool!
that would be a great kit for the street, good on motors that arn't all upgraded $$ ect.

and for the ones that are built, this is a 2.8H KB swap away from being one mean 2v.

as many of you know, the only 2.8l 2v set up is being sold by MPH to be installed by MPH at a hefty $8k. lets not even add in shipping costs of getting the car to MPH.

you could get a 2.8h cobra version KB + this kit - what you get from selling the maggy on ebay and be in WAY less than $8k having a kit you can have installed by anyone you want.

wonder what the benifits are with this blower OVER the one from Ford Motorsport ( if you can even get it any more )

the SVO/FRPP blower is a non intercooled eaton m90. this is an intercooled Eaton m112.

The SVO/FRPP 2V Blower is an M112 not an M90 like the Saleen 2V kit. Its the exact same unit as the 03/04 Cobra but in a different manifold configuration.

Trust me i know this to be 100% accurate :)

Saleen used a M90. with a very crappy manifold.

IDK how well planned out this manifold is, but 380+rwhp with a stock PI gt isn't bad. and that was with the lowest boost setting.

PI swap guys could use this. and i'm sure it can be retro fitted to nPI heads. every other PI based manifold can, why not this? don't know how effective it would be.

Heres a thought. this + hellion "hell raiser"

can you say sleeper 2v from Hell? (robustly built block of course.)

What is the "hell raiser" ... never heard of it.

I like it, I even thought of using my awesome machinist abilities to whip up something like it. It's a nice performance bump, comparable in price to a centri kit, but with the low end boost of root's/twin screw's.

Just an update on the Tork Tech stuff...with the Magnuson Generation 5 Supercharger...the kit was tested by JMS Chip. On an automatic 2000 GT the car made 385.2 rwhp at 5892 RPM and 387.86 ft/lbs of torque. This was at 7 lbs of boost with the revision B split inter cooler. The revision A inter cooler tested on the West coast, made the same power but at more boost, so the new design works MUCH more efficiently. At 2500 RPM it made 357 ft/lbs of torque. Temperature was 74 degrees and 34 % humidity. Timing was at 16 degrees and AFR 11.8/1. Inlet temp was 116 degrees on pass one, 121 on pass 2, 128 on pass 3 and 141 on pass 4. The passes were made without shutting the car off between passes. After the car was removed from the dyno, it was driven for about 5 miles and the inlet temp dropped back to 96 degrees.
If anyone has any questions about the test results please feel free to cal Monty at JMS Chip. TTI is now looking at installing it on the non-pi headed cars. Take a look at the inlet design on the TTI vs. the old 03-04 cobra here http://home.fastspecialties.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=193&Itemid=2 One of the reasons for the power gains. Monty's words: it has a torque curve like a twin screw and the power curve of a centrifugal.

I think it would be a great setup.

el docem - you need the PI heads. you dont necessarily need to replace the whole engine.

Bob - just get this and put it under the tree :xmastree:

wonder if they will ever make one that will fit a 5.4 2v that isn't like 2 feet tall. I'd Buy it then.

Yep you can get a Vortech for 3k, but you can't get any twin screw for nearly that much. By the logic you guy's are using, you can get a NX kit for 500 buck's. If the thing cost's 3k you'd all be saying it should be 2... The people that put these on mildly built 2v's will be showing alot of tailights to alot of faster car's.

Look at it this way, my Termiantor probably put's down about 400 rwhp, and cost me 21k. You guy's with SN's are probably paid for, or don't owe more than 5k, so for another 5, you can put down as much power as I do...
