ECT Sensor came out

Hey guys. So i was leaking coolant slightly for a little while but one night my ECT blew out of its housing. Yeah coolant spewed all over my engine bay I was pretty mad. I used some JB quick weld to temporarily put the thing back in and it held up for a bit but im just ready to completly replace it. Ive got a 98 gt and for some reason the housing is really weak its composite and attached to the intake manifold.

Has anyone else experienced a problem like this and where did you get your replacement, how much was it, and how long did your swap take?

if its a 98 , you might want to look at doing the PI intake swap , I recommend this kit from livernois , its full proof way of not gooping on silicone and you wont have to worry about a leak later on

Awesome because I wanted to do a PI swap anyway. Well the intake anyway. How user friendly is this kit because I not a mechanic Id guess it would take around 3 hours though right? I'm sure I can do it though with some help from some wrench turning friends ccasion14:

It is a good price, however you get everything you need and is more reliable then the RTV method.

Do it and do it right and you will get the most out of your investment.
