Hey guys. So i was leaking coolant slightly for a little while but one night my ECT blew out of its housing. Yeah coolant spewed all over my engine bay I was pretty mad. I used some JB quick weld to temporarily put the thing back in and it held up for a bit but im just ready to completly replace it. Ive got a 98 gt and for some reason the housing is really weak its composite and attached to the intake manifold.

Has anyone else experienced a problem like this and where did you get your replacement, how much was it, and how long did your swap take?

PS: Ill upload some pics in a little bit

Awesome because I wanted to do a PI swap anyway. Well the intake anyway. How user friendly is this kit because I not a mechanic Id guess it would take around 3 hours though right? I'm sure I can do it though with some help from some wrench turning friends :eek:ccasion14:

$500 is way too much to pay for a pi intake swap!

It is a good price, however you get everything you need and is more reliable then the RTV method.
