Edelbrock Intake Adapter plate

This is what I was doing tonight. I think I'm going to clean up the inside a little better but I don't think it could have turned out any better. AND I DIDN"T HAVE TO SPEND 80 (after shipping) FOR MMR's ADAPTER PLATE.

I have $18 into this plate. (cost of the metal)

IDK I don't think it would. I know It doesn't fit under the shock tower brace, that's for sure, lol.

OMG!! I finally found someone with the same intake as me,
we had to make an adapter plate too cuz that intake is
made for a carb on the top, but we made a plate so it
would fit under my tiny ass hood lol...looks great man!!!
Our adapter plates are identical, thats wierd lol

Yes mine clears barely!!! i had to take strut tower brace off

Awesome...Do you have any numbers for how much HP you picked up? I'm hoping because of the intakes power band goes up to 7200 it'll either gain 30rw on top of the S/C or it'll make up the Hp from the blower topping off. I've heard everything from 20-40rwhp gains.

Yeah man i never dynoed my car when it was stock (really dumb on my part) but when i did everything, i did it all at once and after i got my car dynoed me and dad changed oil and realized it was 2-3 quarts overfilled (b/c my oil was leakin out the valve cover hole so we kept putting oil in it :BangHead:, but problems fixed now) which was robbing me of horsepower BADLY, but with 2-3 quarts overfilled i had 255rwhp, i'm guessin since now its got the right amount of oil its easily makin 40 more hp cuz it made a HUGE difference when we changed oil and stuff it was way smoother and pulled alot harder...but damn wish i had a vortech lol

Yea i was sayin now that i have the right amount of oil instead of wayy over filled i probably would say i make like 290-300rwhp if i had to guess or hope lol...yeah im not sure wut hp i got from intake cuz i did my mods all at the same time...
