I just bought a performer intake and I am needing to purchase a elbow for it. Do I have to buy the edelbrock elbow, or can I buy a mac or prof products elbow? Also is the egr adapter necessary, if so why? Thanks in advance

Any elbow will work.

What EGR adapter? Your existing EGR stuff should bolt up to the elbow.

Hmmm. Never seen that before. Unfortunately I guess I can't be much help other than to tell you that I have an Edelbrock manifold on my car and it doesn't have a spacer.

Well, I can tell you that installing my EGR was definitely a PIA so I could see this being a big help.
