Electrical Differences?

I am wondering what all is different in the electrical systems btw the 94/95 v8 cars to the v6 cars and the 96-98 v8 cars? Besides the engine wiring and speedo is anything different? such as the power acc? I have found a v6 i want to put my motor in but worried about the electrical issues i will run into.

to stick a 5.0 in it or a 4.6? alot of ppl have done it. but you have to switch K member and then wiring harness motor tran. rear end. Its alot of work. Unless you have another car for daily driver. You could do carb set up on it but I dont care for carb. but it wold be alot easier

for the k-member

94-95 is one group. all 94-95 factory V6, GT, and Cobra k-members are the same
96-04 is the other group. all 96-04 factory V6, GT, and Cobra k-members are the same


if you want to put a 3.8 in one of those cars you can use either k-member. just buy 3.8 mounts that match the year of the k-member.

if you want to put a 5.0 or 351 in one of those cars you must use a 94-95 k-member. use 94-95 5.0 mounts.

The answer to your question is nothing as far as the inside of the car. The electrical that is different is the engine harness/tranny harness/computer in them. Those are the main things you will need to change to do a motor swap for the electrical part.
