electrical problem/alarm removal question

today i was at the store and i noticed the headlights flickering and cutting off or dimming down. its the alternator or battery right? but it only does that when i step on brake or put it in reverse and any other gear(automatic). Whats going on? electrical problem?

Now today i was at kmart and was ready to leave and noticed a rolling shopping cart heading towards my car. so i got out and stopped the cart. head back to my car and it locked my keys in the damn car. my alarm system on the car locks the doors automatically. Its annoying as hell and hate the noise it makes when i start the car and i hate the blue blinking light.

How do i remove this alarm system? whats the "brain" to these things?

I would personally bring it somewhere before you just start ripping things out. Thats just to start.

willing to bet your voltage problems are more to do with some underdrive pullies then anything else?

Pulling an alarm is easier then installing it but you could still leave yourself high and dry.
