This a 95 V6 Mustang 3.8ltr, approx 131k

Prior to my problem I replaced my a/c system minus the condenser and the evaporator. I put in a new compressor, accumulator, liquid line (with orifice tube). Everything was working fine, even got it to go to 40deg in the afternoon drive. I had the shop do a vacuum and a flush.

Alright so the compressor decides not to kick on after I turned the switch, but it was working fine hours before. I have checked all the fuses relay's etc. Now, I found a forum were someone said to bypass the low pressure switch and see if it turns on the compressor, well I did this and it worked. So it must be the low side pressure switch right? OK so today I get up go get a new switch and put it on. As I take the old one off I here freon leaking, so I unscrew it faster until it comes off. Now I get the new one and put a new seal on and screw this one in all the way. 'Start the car and the compressor doesn't kick on. Now the freon reading is in the "need to charge zone". We tried the bypass the low pressure switch again and it didn't work this time. I believe I need to check all the fuses again, just to be sure since the bypass did not work.

Also I did a check of the power cable to the compressor, and it reads .0514v when the the A/c is on. The fan does not come on either when I put it on max A/c .The new compressor has the connector on the side facing the fender wall so its a little hard to get to.

I have put 8hrs of work time into this and countless time studying the a/c system for repairs. It safe to say I'm frustrated.

Thanks for any help someone can give.

Ck and make sure you have pwr in and out of the ccrm. 1 other thing, the a/c will kick off under full pwr.
Like you already said: ck fuses again. and try to bypass the low pressure sw again. The compressor will not kick on if you freon is low.

Alright I just checked the freon with the car off and and it was something like 35psi. We turned the car on and added freon and now it reads (whilethecarson) 105 psi? Do you check the freon when the cars off or on? Also on the high side near the condenser there is the high side port and it was leaking what i guess to be freon. made a noise like letting air out of a tire, it did this the day I got home and it wouldn't start a few hours later. didn't think anything of it. so when we added the freon the car it started to cool down significantly. but then that high side port stem started leaking. To makesure the new lowside pressure switch i got worked i quickly took the bridge out of the plug and plugged it in and turned on the ac, the clutch was going on an off. so there is very little to no freon. the highside part is connected to the reflll tube over the accumulator. Could it just be the highside cap leaking? it doesnt seem to be at the connection just the top of thee stem.

what should I do?

Im considering taking it to my mechanic and let him figure it out and then give me an option so as i know what to do myself.

Sorry there are many grammar flaws, i am in a hurry.
