Hi! I own a 95 gt, race built aode trans, 2500 stall and 4.10 gears. I have a big interest in the e303 and b303 cam's on these 5.0's only problem is running it with obd1 and having it pass emissions out here in Mesa, Arizona. What all has to be done to make this possible? Or is it better to wait to register as a classic vehicle in 2020 so I don't have to deal with emissions. Looking for street/ strip use. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

with the right tune and the tuner in the area being familiar with the emissions requirements, you should be ok. probably will need to keep your cats though.

How strict are they in your area? Are either of those cams lopey? If so would the emission guy give you grief over it? You can probably get it to pass with a decent tune. But the sound might scare off an emission guy.

Personally I'd wait it out another 10 months and then go hog wild. But then I'm used to Cali.

My b303 didn’t affect it as far as rich or lean or what not. It did affect idle sometimes but that’s easily fixed with a chip and a proper tune. I don’t see what’s you’d have issues passing then.

Okay so I want to run the E303 cam, bore .30 over, gt40 pi heads, bbk 1 -5/8 long tubes, trick flow intake top end, 75mm tb. Pretty solid idea, what tuners and ecu should I run or will stock ecu hold up? Including what tuner?20181114_062432.jpg

depends on who is near you who is a reputable tuner and what software he uses. most common is SCT.

Sct tuner actually isn't that expensive, I did hear about the megasquirt pnp 2 for this and I think I'll go with the sct tuner has 5 different custom tunes
