So guys what colors should I use. I know I want to do semi gloss black for my intakes, while doing the plack red. So what colors should I do my heads and valve covers and all my random brackets. I picked up a can of silver for the headers.

I always paint my engines ford blue. The silver paint is going to burn right off of the headers unless they are ceramic coated.

Blue, and red and stuff of that nature don't belong under the hood of a car unless its something like a coupler or wires in my opinion. Stick with neutral colors (black, gray, silver, etc). It'll look much cleaner this way.

Here is you an ugly example. 302 stuffed into a late 80s RX7 (FC).
