Engine swap questions

I keep changing my mind on what I want to do to my car. I have a 98 gt so it's got the 4.6 2v. I'm looking at doing the 5.4 swap from the navigator or expedition so I'm curious as to what all I'd need to do that or if there are any better options out there. I want to keep my engine build under 5000 preferably but I want it to be built to handle boost down the road.

The stock 5.4l can handle roughly about 100hp more and that will put the connecting rods/pistons on borrowed time. The swap is really a direct swap a side from an intake to fit under the hood. Use cobra exhaust logs, pre-98 valve covers made for plug wires, and getting it tuned. The intake manifold will be the challenge.

yea, most of the guys who do it end up going with a giant cowl. otherwise it seems pretty straight-forward

An intake option is to use a lower navigator manifold with a custom made upper box.

Ok so I found a guy selling a full 2003 dohc 4v cobra/ Mach 1 motor pretty cheap what all would need to be done for that swap?
