Engine swaps 4.6 2v to ??

What are some engine swaps for us 2v 4.6 guys? I've never heard of anyone dropping anything besides 4.6's and 5.4's in 96-98's. Any other cool swaps out there?

Hardly worth 4k when bigbore blocks are even cheaper, and even a big bore 5.4 is the same price.

you can buy the stroker kit for less that 4k? even with the install/machine work it comes out to less than 4k..?

or am i confusing myself here?

My kit cost 3800 bucks, I dunno what any other kit's cost, or where you are buying them assembled for less than 4k, but ok.

And there's no reason you can't put a blower on it either

oh, i musta read wrong when i was lookin a few years ago but i thought they were cheaper.
plus back when i wanted to do it not many people where doin strokers on our cars (i'd be the ONLY one where i live here) but i'm sure in other places it was popular..?

you have a 302 stroker? hrm...
would CR be really high on that though?
or just get low compression pistons and call it a day?

Get whatever compression you want on it pretty much. Apparently you are choosing to not read the part where a big bore modular cost less, or a bigbore 5.4 cost just as much though.

So, order up a stroker kit, order whatever compression you want, boost it, spray it, it's just like any other motor.

What are the advantages of a 4.6 stoked to a 302.
I know some people are BIG BORE OR GO HOME but then some others aren't like that..

I just went looking around (since it's been a few years since i looked into a 302 stroked 4.6) and i see that you can basically pick you CR which is pretty badass but the SBs are like 3800 like stated.. But hey, it would be badass.

So with a 302 stroker with my NPI heads (which I assume will still be able to bolt on) Pi intake and rest of mods in sig, will I see a HP gain? and if so... whats a guesstimate gain? (before blower, just with the 302 stroker plus mods in sig)
