I am designing a custom temp gauge to match the other gauges in the car to show up on my dm200 gauge from plx devices. What temp range does the water in our cars reach? What temp should I start to get worried to set my upper warning limit? I am going to do the same thing for oil, any idea the range of temps for it and warning temps?

the lowest limit of operating temp should be the T-Stat setting..... which for 5.0 fords i believe is 190ish

I am prettysure I have a 180 in, so does that mean 180 for mine or just 190 across the board? Seems like a really small operating range from 190-210

strangly enough th at is what I did. I had to make 100 cells to cover all the readings at 3.2degree divisions so it goes from 0-300. At 0 degrees it says "HELL NO", "WARMING UP" FROM 20-100, "WARM" from 100-160, and then caution or hazard above 220.

I have space for another word while under operating temperature and I am thinking about putting some random comments but now sure what to say. Downloaded a free version of corel last night and was able to kill alot of time in the hospital while doing it so it was a success. Now I just really can't wait to get out, make and mount my pods for the gages and see it in action. I am going to build some pods based on the speed of sound pods but I want them to be a little pointier on the ends and tucked into the pillar a little better as well.
