we have shows here every week during the spring/summer/fall but there is only one per year that does burn outs and tonight was the show. Must have been 200+ cars and some really nasty ones too including a shelby super snake. After the show everyone lines up down one street and then the cars line up and start smoking them. I am not sure why the cops don't come as its not like they have barracades up, or cars off the street, or even any rules. Oh and not to mention the police station is a block away too but it makes for a good time! Its actually been for ever since I lit em up just because I have been chasing little gremlins here/there for some time now that made me watch my gauges closer then I probably should. This week after putting the new plug wires on the car has been running better then ever and it was long over due. Of course as the cars line up I get behind a mean-green cuda that is tubbed in the back and absolutely wicked. I stayed back as I figured he was going to light them up and I think it was one of the best of the show. I could hear his motor still screamin but saw nothing but white 15 ft infront of me. I had to wait 30-45 secs to let it clear up enough so that I could see where I was going and if it was clear....

This is the first time I have lit them up since, well everything was put on it(side exhaust, trickflow heads/cam) and it was as much fun as I remember it being.

By next years show I am going to install line-locks... Vids to follow when my club members post them.

a whole bunch of display of hp. Damnit for some reason now I can't watch any of the vids they are posting. I push play and the screen goes blank...

My club is talking about a possibly a new location for our monthly show and I think it will have to be a place that will allow it. Our current location is great for visability as its on a busy corner by the expressway and unfortunatly a bunch of burn outs like last night would have probably caused a wreck on the expressway from rubber neckers.

Damn good time though, completely different show with people cheering and shouting. Next year we are bringing big numbers so we can rate them and a few with some heckling on them to laugh at the others.
