Since I had to get under my 07 yesterday to tighten up the shifter arm bolt I thought I might as well try and mess with that pesky exhaust leak again. I have a pypes off road x pipe, I do NOT recommend this or any 3 piece design, so I loosened all the clamps so I could reposition the rest of the x pipe to seat the flange on the manifold. As soon as I touched the flange the entire down pipe moved! So it wasnt even tightened all the way. I could move the pipe in and out at least 1/8 of an inch. No wonder. So I took out my 15mm socket, my swivel, 3 extensions and ratchet, put it on the nut and... it wouldnt budge. I couldnt get it to tighten or loosen so Im stuck. Other than getting long tubes and removing everything at once, is there any way I can attampt to fix this without spending too much time or money? Imo its almost not worth it to try and fix it, hence the long tube idea but Id rather not spend the money right now if I dont have to.
