Selective reading much? It was one of 3 variables. More power, quieter at cruising and louder at WOT. There were no negative attributes on these vs other options. Its not my first rodeo in the Mustang game.

Also, looks like my memory was a bit skewed as it has been 12 years since I read the article, which means it was 11 years ago I bought that exhaust.

Great info for those who think like I do. I hate the drone and would like the most bang for my buck when it comes to sound and HP performance as well as longevity.

Are you more a show and shine kind of guy? I like to maximize my money spent and when dropping 600 bucks on a catback. I want all performance metrics to match my goals. My goals are never to go slower and when you are pushing 13 lbs of altered atmosphere through a muffler you aren't looking to go slower.
