ok i have a problem with my exhaust rattling...whats happening is my muffler i think is rattling against the frame of the car i think thats where its coming from cause i look under there and theres only a couple of inches between it and the frame, and i can move it with my foot and press it against the frame. And also i have talked to another guy with a 94 gt and he said he had the same prob, and its weird also cause it doesnt always do it but anyways its not a big deal but its just anoyying. I was just wondering if any of u other guys have had the same problem and/or if u did what u did to fix it without doing any major mods like moving the muffler completely?
thanks guys

yeah i had that problem to i just kinda put a jack under the side of the muffler that is closest to the drive shaft and i jacked it up a bit so it rolled the muffler away from the frame and mine has been fine since.

guys i spent about $650 geting exhaust wleded and rewelded, this is the absolute best i ever had, there are some little hangers that have metal on both sides and a piece of rubber strip that connects them these are the strongest i have ever seen. my guy welded them to the frame then to the exhaust ever since then the pipes have not moved a bit i promise you this is the best method.

i had the same problem... my new headers slightly took the exhaust out of alignment and the mufflers rubbed and rattled on the inside of the body..problem solved by cutting the h-pipe in the cross section and tilting it ever so slighty to push the muffler away from the body then re-welding it. no more rattle
