Ok so I live in CA ans as of right now my 95 GT has straight pipes with magnaflow exhaust tips. I was thinking about getting this x pipe http://www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-7995-catted-xpipe.html and was wondering if it would pass CA emissions and was looking on suggestions on what mufflers to get that won't drone on the freeway. I was thinking about some super 44's but I heard they drone really bad. Thanks

my suggestion is find out if the X pipe has a CARB EO number, if it does then it's probably legal.

Well I read somewhere that since either 2008 or 2009 no after market catted midpipes are CARB legal but some people get them in CA and pass smog with them. Right now I don't know if its even worth dropping the money for a catted x pipe that may or may not pass me during smog or if I should just get some o/r x pipe for now and be on the lookout for a stock midpipe.

I would not go anywhere near a off road x-pipe in Cali.

i live inn the bay area and i got an off road x, all though i slap on the stock mid for smog purposes
