Extremely High Idle

Ok, so I just installed a tork-tech supercharger. I did change the MAF to a Cobra MAF, but the car does not have a tune for it yet. (could this be the issue?).

I have done everything with the IAC that is possible. Unplugged, holes taped over etc.

I have completely shut the throttle blade screw.

I cannot get the idle to come down. All of the vac lines have been thoroughly checked!

Any help would be appreciated.

Mine was idling at 4k (stock motor) but my IAC restrictor plate broke now i have a small vacuum leak from the gasket and the IAC but a new plate helped me out some what idle sits at 700 ish but sometimes stalls i think the holes are to small..

ah, well I think my problem may be that I duct taped over an open port on the blower.

I thought it would seal enough for the initial start up, but I guess not. lol.

That might do it lol it wont seal it good enough.. I have no idea what my issue is.. maybe i need to clean my MAF or TPS sensor?
