Ford used some kinda coating on the inside of the tb, using spray cleaner you run the risk of removing it. Won`t hurt to clean all the crap off, you will just have to check it more often.

Mine had a film inside the TB. I used to just wipe it clean. The plenum you can clean good and port it if you want.

My film is long gone, someone else already spray cleaned it. So until I get aftermarket, I check once a month.

Space and time will merge on a single fold creating a paradoxical universe based on that moments decision and making a new universe along the interstellar time line. After that though, nothing will happen. It's just a coating that helps prevent soot build up but is basically ineffective right about the same time the manufacturers warranty runs out.

Ha good, thanx Sxynerd, i thought it effected performance in some way.

by the way If i spray throttle body cleaner into it will it wear the film down, and if so will this damage my engine?

Very much so!

The bad part about Engineers is the #1 concern with them is getting your new car to perform as designed/advertised up until the warranty ends and after that you are on your own.
