Hey guys, the factory guage crapped out on me for some reason and I cant figurer it out. I replaced the sending unit and it didnt fix the problem, so does anyone have any ideas what else I could try? If I cant figurer it out I guess I will have to go aftermarket. Thanks for the help.

Just do the aftermarket. They have actual numbers and are more accurate anyway. :)

Maybe I will, just figured I could fix it. Any suggestions on a good pod to use and where to mount it? Not looking for anything that looks like a rice rocket lol, just something clean. Thanks.

mine stopped working on my a while back.. i'm not sure if its different for the 3.8 vs 4.6 but, when i went to replace the sending unit, i replace the wrong one. there are two, one that sends temp to your gauge and one that sends temp to your ecu. but, even when i did get it right i went with an aftermarket one. i got an a-pillar mounted pod and had a 2-1/16th inch gauge put in it. my a-pillar looks like it came from the factory with the gauge there

Wow nice guage pod Paul. I went today and got a 2 1/16" autometer guage and the pod that goes over the top half of the steering column. I wont be able to get it in till sun, but I think it will look ok.

I've had that pod before. It's okay, but blocks the gauge cluster a little bit.
