Fan Temp

Anybody know what temp the fan kicks on? Car got up to 220 earlier, not sure if the fan was on or not, but when I pulled the throttle and held it, it got up to 205 almost 210 and no fan. Only thing I can think of is I dropped the connector in an oil bucket and didn't get all of it off. Maybe its not making good contact? Any have any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

my fan kicks on at about 210 i would really check into that...

i think it's around 200 for low speed and 220 for hi speed. also if you turn your a/c on the hi speed should turn on too. fyi: when you pull codes, at the very begining of the test the fan will cycle on low for a couple of seconds then the hi will come on for a couple seconds

I think that the low is not kicking on, the high is coming on around 220

I think there's some sort of module that controls when the fan kicks in low or hi. I could be wrong but is behind the fan on the left side (looking the car up front). might wanna check that? :dontknow:

215 according to Autometer gauge.

Look in the how-to section... Theres a how to manually turn on your fans, it will tell you what box to look for that controls the fan.
