I got the car when I was 19 and have since paid it off. It needed pretty serious attention when I got it; it needed a paint job, leaked various fluids, and had an knock coming from the right-side head. With like 4,000 views, I'm assuming most people here have seen the early pics of it. I'm the first Ford in mine and my extended family with the exception of my cousin so there was a lot of phone calls to my uncle (tech) at the beginning, trying to figure some mechanical things out since I had no other Ford people to talk to (wasn't on any forums). So I'm 23 now and it still leaks, just not as much, but I've been able to spray pretty much all of it now so at least it looks good. I'm no good at not including a sexual innuendo in something so I have to admit that she's a sexy beetch.

My dad bought this car for me almost 4 years ago with the plans of giving it to me for graduation. Well, I did get it after I graduated, just not in the state it was in before graduation. On my graduation day May 22nd, 2011 a tornado hit my hometown and my house was hit. This mustang was sitting in the driveway and was pretty badly beat up (as you can tell from the first picture).
I took the car after the tornado and with it being still fairly intact I decided to restore it and surpass its previous state. With almost 2 years since the tornado it has been a slow process but I am doing whatever I can with the time and money I have (College is a time suck).

I received my mustang in June of 2006. I had been working for my 2nd uncle on his land moving farm equipment and cars and his belongs around to get him situated so he could move into a retirement home. He had passed away in 2005 and he had left my aunt and uncle some money. My 2nd uncle tried to leave a 64 1/2 mustang vert. to me but it had been auctioned off when he had passed. So with the money my aunt and uncle had received the used some of it to buy me my first car the 1998 v6 mustang. Not being to much into cars at first I didn't notice the frame damage and mis match paint with runs. Stereo wasn't working and was kicked in. Driver seat was chewed up... An the hood wouldn't open to well.
I have had the car for over 6 years and have done quite a bit to it. It is daily driver, and is babied when driving in the winter.
It started out as a 1998 v6 mustang coupe in black with all tan interior. Car was in a wreck and had built it back up myself with the help of some close friends and my dad. 1st attempt at fixing up a car, replaced drivers fender and repaint front bumper, rear bumper, new factory fiber glass hood, new side skirts. Also my dad gave me the mustang bug with the restoration of his 73 Mach 1 with the 351 Cleveland and c4 and 9in rear end. He sold it before he had a chance to pass it onto me. Really need the money at the time.

I purchased my car in October of 2010, it had only 4,200 miles. It's my 3rd mustang and I wanted a Mach 1 ever since my grandfather told me stories about his old 69 Mach he use to raise hell in but i thought it was out of reach for a 19 year old, but I'm so glad I'm fortunate enough to have it. Anyways, it's far from where I want it but I'm slowly getting there. The mods are usual, H&R super sport springs, FR 500 wheels, VRS x pipe, magnaflow mufflers, JLT CAI, and a Clarion head unit and a MGW shifter. I have a DynoTune wet nitrous kit that'll be going on very soon. I plan on keeping it safe and spraying a 100 shot...for now. My ultimate dream would be to put twin turbos on it and a lot of suspension/ handling mods but that's after school.
